How many days should I spend in Morocco?
It depends on what you want to see and do. If you only want to visit a few of the main cities, 7 to 10 days is enough. To travel at a more relaxed pace, we recommend staying two weeks or more.
When is the best time to visit Morocco?
The best seasons are spring (mid-March to May) and autumn (late September to October). Days are neither too hot nor too cold — around 25°C — which is ideal for exploring cities on foot. In spring, flowers bloom across Morocco (mimosa, bougainvillea, peach, apple and apricot). Autumn is the season for fresh and unusual fruit (figs, apricots, prickly pears and pomegranates).
When is the cheapest time to travel to Morocco?
From December to February, accommodation is cheaper than in high season and easier to book (except over Christmas and New Year).
How long does it take to get to Morocco?
There are no direct flights from Japan, so the journey time depends on the airline and the connection. From Tokyo (Narita or Haneda) to Casablanca, allow about 20 hours via France and about 23 hours via Dubai. From Europe, flights to Morocco take only a few hours, and ferries cross from southern Spain in about 1 to 1.5 hours.
