Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Ourika Valley – Marrakech
After a morning pick-up from the agreed meeting point, drive one hour to the Ourika Valley. At the foot of the Oukaimeden ski resort, the valley rises into the foothills of the High Atlas, where small villages cling to the slopes. Enjoy the views of Toubkal and the surrounding peaks, the calm of the cool river and the singing of birds, and see how local people live day to day. The region is known for its crystalline minerals and ceramics. From February to April, cherry and almond trees blossom all the way down to the river. Return to Marrakech in the evening.
